From the Director, Writer and Executive Producer . . . This is without a doubt our biggest venture yet. I am so excited about this production. I am even more excited that The Donald Hilliard Group has joined me and my production team on this endeavor. The cast is absolutely amazing. I wanted to write a story that would inspire and uplift people with a strong spiritual message without exploiting the church and sensationalizing the African American church experience. The incredible Kelly Price has joined the cast and will be performing her hit single, TIRED. Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr. is also a member of the extraordinary cast. In After the Walk, FAYTHE and MAXWELL have worked to rebuild their marriage and their faith after an adulterous relationship invades their family and causes them to question God. FAYTHE falls prey to the desires of her heart and ultimately loses her daughter in the process. Her pastor and brother, FRANKLIN Scott continues to try to keep the family together by following the guidance and direction of his spiritual father. Just when FAYTHE and her husband seem to be making ground with God; another obstacle enters their lives and shakes their Christian foundation. The man who took their daughter’s life is being released from prison. At the same time, a mystery woman (Robyn) enters the picture who truly puts their marriage to the test. Robyn pretends to be searching for a church home but in reality she is on a personal vendetta to cause harm and destruction and is using the church as her personal playground. Franklin is so engrossed in saving his church and his parishioners that he loses sight of the fact that in addition to being a pastor, he is also a husband whose wife needs and deserves his devotion. This story looks at troubled relationships, the pressures of being a pastor and the spirit of true forgiveness.
